Happy #MonochromeMonday from Solvang, California! This shot was my contribution to Monochrome Monday, a weekly invitation from John Getchel on X to share black-and-white photos. If you shoot monochrome, join in! Solvang is a little slice of Denmark tucked into the Santa Ynez Valley, and its storybook architecture practically begs to be shot in black and white. This one caught my eye with its half-timbered gables, round stained-glass windows, and a clock tower hung with a row

Thanks Vegas @GoldenKnights @VGK_PR for open and free practice today. You know that crazy fast unpredictable action in front of the net that leads to goals or a super quick reaction from the goalie that stops them? They practice that. NHL the coolest game on Earth. Originally posted on X

I love this photo of 4 Time NHL All Star @jackeichel @GoldenKnights with his sticks as the team switched practice rinks today at practice #GoKnightsGo!!! Originally posted on X

Boo to you from Downtown Summerlin Las Vegas and Cheers to a 65 year old Yashica Flash-O-Set camera from Goodwill Originally posted on X

What better way to celebrate spooky season than with a giant skull and a slightly spooky camera? I took this shot in Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas, with a camera that's a bit of a curiosity in its own right: the Yashica Flash-O-Set, an odd little point-and-shoot from the early 1960s. It has a fixed-focus 40mm f/4 lens and a single 1/60 shutter speed. In its day, it had an auto mode with a connected selenium cell that set the aperture for you. My copy came from Goodwill, and t

The cooler Vegas weather means these flowers are just about done for the year. It's fun to find them at night when they do show up Night-blooming cereus 🌙✨ a Peruvian apple cactus (Cereus repandus) These massive white blooms only open after dark and are usually gone by morning Originally posted on X

All my life music has been my thing. All kinds of music. Nothing can make me as happy. I think everyone felt that way last night at another great Earth, Wind & Fire show at the @VenetianVegas to open their 2026 Vegas residency Originally posted on X

Tom’s Welding in Barstow, California has an amazing collection of signs from gas stations, tire shops and more. It is a must photo stop if you do a Route 66 trip in the area. Thanks to @real_ken_rockwell and @davewyman for the Route 66 photo workshop that showed us this spot. I used a 1950s Kodak camera with black and white film to match the vintage feel. Shared on X for the Daily Picture Theme challenge ‘Old Advertisements’ if you care* The camera used was a 1950s Kodak Brow
